Cinderella: It's time to go to the ball

After months of rehearsal Penarth Operatic & Dramatic Society's brand new production of Cinderella opened at the Paget Rooms on Wednesday, December 1.

Due to pandemic restrictions it will be the first pantomime to appear at the Paget rooms for two years so PODS are absolutely thrilled to be back on stage.

Cinderella is one of the most enchanting stories of all times and this production has been written especially for PODS by Bafta winner Andy Bradshaw who has also designed the set and is co-directing the production.

Andy is more often seen at Hamptons in Penarth but prior to opening the store he worked extensively in children's theatre and television and his work was awarded two British BAFTAs and a BAFTA Cymru.

If you're considering an afternoon or evening out this week, Cinderella could be just what you are looking for.

Come and join PODS as Cinderella transforms from rags to riches. With the help of her best friend, Buttons and a very magical Fairy Godmother she outwits her ugly step sisters and the evil Countess Von Strudel to win the heart of Prince Charming. And of course, they live happily ever after!

Cinderella runs at the Paget Rooms from Wednesday December 1 until Sunday 5th December with matinees at 1pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets are from just £10 and you can book online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/pods.
