A man was found dead on Penarth Beach yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services arrived at the scene on March 21 at 13.59 to respond to the emergency.

It is thought there are no suspicious circumstances.

A statement from South Wales Police: "South Wales Police can confirm that the body of a man was found on Penarth beach shortly before 13:45 yesterday (March 21).

"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances at this stage and next of kin have been informed."
