Beachcliff Fish & Chips on the Esplanade has introduced a new takeaway breakfast menu to soften the impact of the firebreak lockdown.

In addition to a selection of breakfast baps, a "Big Breakfast" is available with sausages, bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans, hash browns, tomatoes, toast and a drink for just £5 to takeaway.

A vegan equivalent is also available for £4 along with other options for smaller appetites.

The Beachcliff breakfast menu will continue beyond lockdown and will also be available to eat inside when permitted, allowing customers to enjoy breakfast with beautiful sea views.

Kingsley Hughes of Beachcliff Fish & Chips told Nub News: "It has been a difficult time with the various lockdown restrictions in place, but we have made the best we can out of the situation and it's great to see the interest in our new extended menu."

The restaurant and takeaway, which opened on the Esplanade in February shortly before the first lockdown was announced, is also resuming its full pre-Covid menu with immediate effect, including its gluten-free and vegan options.

Breakfast is served from 8am to 12pm, and the main menu is available from 12pm-9pm.

During the firebreak customers are still welcome to attend the shop to order takeaway.

Alternatively, they can order online for collection or delivery at www.beachcliffchips.co.uk.
