Todays stroll around the Bay I saw an extremely low tide outside the barrage.
It occurred to me that a little over thirty years ago the barrage did not exist and the mud would have extended into what is now Cardiff Bay.
The boats now floating on the River Ely would have been sitting in mud.
Mermaid Quay didn't exist but we'd enjoy a trip to the Industrial and Maritime Museum on the waterfront.
I'd love the museum to return - but not the mud.
Nice to see the boats back on the water, and people enjoying the fresh air.
