Dinas Powys and Activity Centre was presented with a cheque from the Dinas Powys Annual Art Group Exhibition.

There to receive it were Clare Richards Treasurer, Keith Hatton and chair Chris Franks.

Thanking the Art Group, Chris Franks said the library was very grateful for the support.

He said, "We are delighted that we are are developing a very positive relationship with the Group as well as other artistic organisations.

"We want the library to be a centre of activities for the whole community.

"We are also grateful to Janet Blackman who masterminds our arts policy.

"This is a wonderful community effort. Please pop in to see some of the wonderful work of the Art Group that is on display."
