Another Sully Island Rescue for Penarth Coastguard

Penarth Coastguard were tasked to another incident at Sully Island with people stranded.

There has been a significant number of rescues from the island since coronavirus restrictions have started lifting in the area.

They said: "We were tasked to two persons cutoff by tide at Sully Island.

"On scene to two casualties doing the sensible thing and not trying to cross the flooding causeway.

"Barry Dock RNLI was tasked to ferry the two across to the mainland to be met by our team. Safety advice issued."
