Year 13 at Stanwell School have been asked to self-isolate after a student in the group had a confirmed case.

In a letter to parents, Head Teacher Mr Trevor Brown today stated:

"This morning, I was notified of a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Year 13. In line with guidance from the Welsh Government, Environmental Health, and the Vale of Glamorgan Council:

"All close contacts of the case have been identified and are in the process of receiving appropriate advice."

This is the fifth known case to be recorded in the school since pupils returned in September.
