Air Cadets played a pivotal and encouraging role at half marathon and have been nominated for award
1148 (Penarth) Squadron have been nominated by Run4Wales as the best volunteer group supporting the Cardiff Half Marathon held on 1 October 2023.
Run 4 Wales (R4W) is a not-for-profit social enterprise and charitable trust set up to promote, manage and deliver major sporting events.

The Squadron has been regularly supporting this event; as do many other cadet and volunteer groups.
Fg Off Ian Doyle, Officer Commanding, said: "For our part, we provide encouragement to runners as they pass the 6-km point, managing the flow of spectators and occasionally offering assistance to runners in distress."
