South Road in Sully is now reopen after unconfirmed reports of an "unexploded device" in a garden of a house on South Road in Sully.

South Wales Police were at the scene, and blocked traffic from going onto South Road from Lavernock. They left at approximately 5pm.

Sully resident Chris Aynge noticed the road block and said the incident looked to be between the One Stop and the International Tortoise Association buildings.

A worker at the One Stop shop said he was told by police officers that they would return if the shop needed to be evacuated, but no one has been.

Nub News is awaiting confirmation and more details from South Wales Police.
