Saturday afternoon/evening (13:00 – 20:00): Penarth Lawn Tennis Club Music & Street Food Festival
The Street Food and Music Festival at Penarth Lawn Tennis Club is set to return after a three-year break due to Covid restrictions.
It's predicted up to 1,200 people will attend the festival on May 28.
The event will be headlined by Cardiff-based GrooveLine, who will get the party going with their selection of 1970s disco and soul tracks.
Guests can also expect music from Penarth-based singer-songwriter, Jim Pirrie, jazz from The Elijah Quintet, as well as lively sets from T-One and The Little Giants.
There will be a Mexican food stall, pizza, doughnuts, and other vendors that are still yet to be confirmed.

Saturday morning (10:00 – 14:00): Grow Food, Eat Well – Food Growing Workshop
This month we are welcoming local horticulturist and gardening for well-being advocate, Emma White, who will join us at midday to share her knowledge of propagation.
The theme for this month is 'a food forest in your garden' and we will be exploring the idea of companion planting much more deeply, as we learn about growing an edible garden, and planting in guilds and polycultures.
The title of the workshop is inspired by Alan Carter's book, A Food Forest in your Garden.
Remember to bring a packed lunch and a chair if you have one.
