Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker spotted in Penarth

The Oscar-winning American actor and producer Forest Whitaker has shared his holiday snaps of "beautiful Wales", which include a visit to Penarth.

The actor, who won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland in 2006, visited while between shoots here in Wales.

He has been busy in the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff filming Havoc alongside Tom Hardy, who was recently spotted on Barry Island.

"Enjoying time in the beautiful Wales before going back to set," Mr Whitaker wrote on social media, captioning his photos of our town, Tenby and Newport.
