Love Brownies will open its eleventh UK cafe in Penarth this November and needs recruits. The franchise is moving into the site vacated by Santander on Windsor Road.

The brownie specialists opened their first store in Ilkley, West Yorkshire 10 years ago. They have received various baking accolades, including a 2019 Great British Food Award for their vegan coconut brownie.

Love Brownies owner and head baker, Chantal Teal, told Nub News:

"We can't wait to open our first café and shop in Wales. This is a great time to join our expanding business, so if you're looking to be part of a successful team delivering an experience that's a little bit different, then we'd love to meet you."

According to Tina Jessop, Head of Marketing at Love Brownies, they're looking for "talented baristas with positives attitude and bags of energy.

"We need people who can deliver the best customer service and get stuck in to all aspects of running a premium café and brownie shop, from front of house to kitchen duties.

"We will be holding an interview day later this month and any interested applicants should send their CVs to [email protected]."
