Relief lifeboat RNLB Dora Foster McDougal in Penarth Marina, taking up station while Barry Dock's regular boat goes for service. She will be berthed in Penarth due to dredging works at Barry Harbour.

Travelling all round the UK as a relief boat she is affectionately known as Dora the Explorer .

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution receives no government funding and its work carries on during lockdown.

Its crews are all volunteers and the charity is funded entirely by voluntary donations and legacies. Its boats have continued to respond to distress calls throughout 2020.

The RNLI has been saving lives at sea since 1824.
