Inception and Looper star Joseph Gordon-Levitt has appealed for photographs of Wales to feature in a project on his website HitRecord.

Nub News wants to make sure Penarth is included.

HitRecord is the Hollywood actor's bid to create a platform for creative people to publish their projects and to encourage collaboration between them.

This project, "A Walk in Wales: Passport Poem", will compile the best photos taken across the country.

It aims to give a global audience a taste of Wales, simulating a walk across the country via a photo essay.

At the time writing, 214 photos have been submitted in the space of just two hours, but only one of Penarth - a moody photo of Flat Holm Island called "Gloomy Penarth Pier" taken by user BattyMatty1989.

To make sure our beautiful town is included, click this link and submit your best photos.
