Visitors will no longer be allowed at Llandough Hospital unless they fall under three categories in an attempt to further curb the spread of coronavirus.

The Cardiff Vale and University Health Board said: ''To protect our visitors, our staff and patients we have taken the extraordinary decision to implement no visiting except for; End of life care; Maternity visiting and the Children's Hospital for Wales.

''Thank you for supporting us to keep you and your loved ones safe.''

This will apply to all of the hospitals under the local Health Board and includes the Heath and Barry hospitals too.
