Our client, a leading consultancy, is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Architect to join their growing D365 practice. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable solutions across Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and the wider Power Platform. This role offers the chance to lead enterprise-level transformation projects, provide technical leadership, and shape best practices across Dynamics, Azure, and M365.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and design scalable, secure Dynamics 365 CRM solutions (Sales, Service, Marketing, Power Platform).
  • Design and implement D365 integrations using Azure services.
  • Research, evaluate, and implement AI-powered Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Build Model-driven Apps, including customisation, plugins, and Power Automate workflows.
  • Own solution architecture across Dynamics, Azure, and M365, with strong awareness of data and security implications.
  • Define standards and conduct solution/code reviews.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to delivery teams.
  • Ensure scalability, quality, and technical readiness of deliverables within timelines and budgets.
  • Engage with stakeholders, facilitating workshops and requirements gathering.
  • Configure and customise CRM forms, views, dashboards, and entities.

Requirements

  • Strong experience delivering large-scale Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Proven expertise in D365 customisation, configuration, and development.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Services (App Services, Functions).
  • Ability to design custom business logic across pro-code plugins, low-code workflows, and no-code tools.
  • Skilled in integrating Dynamics CRM with external systems (REST, SOAP, Azure).
  • Strong track record engaging with senior stakeholders and exec-level sponsors.
  • Experienced in technical documentation, estimating, planning, and presales activities.
  • Familiar with ALM best practices (Git, Azure DevOps, automated deployments, pipelines).
  • Knowledge of solution design patterns and security best practices.
  • Eligible for SC Clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with D365 Finance & Operations or Business Central.
  • Background in consultancy or client-facing roles.
  • Experience with data migrations into D365 ensuring integrity and quality.
  • Exposure to AI features in Dynamics 365 and AI Builder.
  • Familiarity with automation and advanced Power Platform capabilities.
