Join one of the UKs leading electrical & building services contractors a respected company with over 120 Electrical Engineers delivering long-term contracts across social housing, healthcare, commercial, and education sectors. With active projects across London, Kent, and Surrey, this is a role that guarantees consistent, well-paid work and long-term stability.

Were looking for qualified Electrical Testers with strong experience in EICR testing. This isnt short-term agency work , you will be allocated a patch with secured, long-term contracts in one of the below areas:

  • Kent including Canterbury, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas
  • Surrey including Guildford, Woking, Farnham, and nearby towns
  • London
    • East London Isle of Dogs, Canary Wharf, Stratford, Hackney Wick
    • North London Hackney, Islington, Camden, Enfield, Haringey

What Youll Get

  • £38,000 £42,000 base salary
  • £55K£65K realistic annual earnings (most testers average 1216 hours of pay per 8-hour shift)

Your Day-to-Day

  • Carry out domestic & commercial EICR testing and remedials (mainly social housing)
  • Complete 4 EICRs per day (2 hours allocated per property)
  • Accurately complete certification and reports
  • Install lateral mains, emergency lighting, 3-phase distribution boards & fire detection systems

What Youll Need

  • 2391 / 2391-52 Testing & Inspection certification (or 2394/2395 equivalent)
  • Fully qualified (Gold Card or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition certified
  • Experience in social housing EICR testing
  • Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
  • Clear DBS check

Lead, motivate and support programme teams so that they can make a full and valued contribution to the development of the programme area.10. To deliver 324 hours per year of scheduled teaching11. Support and lead the team to fully prepare for external/internal inspection and all audits.12. Effectively manage all cost centre budget allocations in line with the Colleges financial regulations.13. Be responsive to internal and external college initiatives14. Be an active member of the cross college teaching and learning observation team.15. Work with marketing and others partners to raise the profile of the area.16.
