The Role

  • Leading and supervising your shift
  • Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered
  • Administering and recording medication
  • Carrying out risk assessments
  • Working alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring residents remain as active and independent as possible
  • Working closely with the leadership team to develop services

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care desirable
  • Be well-organised, IT literate and adept at allocating and delegating work appropriately.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others.
  • A good understanding of care planning processes
  • Be experienced in or happy to undertake training on administering medication
  • Above all, have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling.

Effectively manage the programme teams to ensure all aspects of the Colleges quality assurance processes are fully implemented.6. Co-ordinate internal and external verification processes, liaising with awarding bodies, external verifiers and the Colleges exams team8. Support the Centre Director to ensure that programme teams are consistently high performing through effective use of the Colleges performance management system, including conducting performance review meetings.9. Lead, motivate and support programme teams so that they can make a full and valued contribution to the development of the programme area.10. To deliver 324 hours per year of scheduled teaching11. Support and lead the team to fully prepare for external/internal inspection and all audits.12. Effectively manage all cost centre budget allocations in line with the Colleges financial regulations.13. Be responsive to internal and external college initiatives14. Be an active member of the cross college teaching and learning observation team.15. Work with marketing and others partners to raise the profile of the area.16.
