1:1 Teaching Assistant TA Role

If the answer to those questions is yes, please keep reading. Academics are currently recruiting for the ideal person to work as a 1:1 with a pupil in KS1 at a Cardiff primary school, starting from September 2026. The school is one that we have an excellent working relationship with and is always popular with TA's and Teachers who have been there.

The successful candidate will be someone who, ideally, has experience of working in an SEN setting and has bundles of energy.

  • Weekly pay of between £425 and £475, depending on experience
  • Secure, long term work for the academic year

  • Refer a friend scheme. Earn up to £125 for each person you recommend to us

What we need from you

  • An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS Update Service (desirable)
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Two recent and professional references
  • An Undergraduate Degree (desirable)
  • Experience of working in an SEN setting (desirable)
