Residential Conveyancer Fully Remote Working Full-time, with part-time considered £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Our client is a boutique, female-founded and female-led law firm with offices based at Silverstone Circuit in the UK, and in Kent, with the team working throughout the UK thanks to embracing technology and the digital world.

They are currently seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer, qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX, with at least 5 years' experience in residential property law. The successful candidate will manage residential property transactions from instruction to completion, providing high-quality legal advice and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and lender requirements.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Fully qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) with current valid practising status

Minimum 5 years' experience in residential conveyancing

  • Strong knowledge of residential property law and practical conveyancing procedures, including freehold and leasehold interests
  • Experience with commercial property is desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse workload independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly
  • Proficiency with conveyancing case management software and legal research tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy
  • Client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • High level of professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality

What will your role look like?

  • Handle a full range of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
  • Act as principal fee earner for all matters allocated, managing cases efficiently and effectively
  • Carry out legal research, draft and review contracts, leases, and related documents
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other professional bodies
  • Ensure all transactions comply with relevant legislation, regulatory bodies (e.g., CLC, SRA), and internal policies
  • Provide clear and accurate advice to clients on legal and financial aspects of property transactions
  • Identify risks and resolve issues arising during conveyancing processes
  • Maintain meticulous case management and meet deadlines while ensuring attention to detail
  • Support junior team members and contribute to team objectives
