A musical treat for Mother's Day! Please join us for a special Mothering Sunday café concert at Penarth Pier Pavilion. Tea and homemade cake await, as we welcome you into our beautiful art gallery. Then sit back and enjoy the musical delights of the Dave Jones Jazz Trio; Dave is an acclaimed pianist and composer working nationally and internationally and we are thrilled to welcome his trio to the Pavilion. "Dave Jones on piano … is a terrific player" BBC3 Jazz Now/ "…a musician of formidable gifts" Simon Spillett, Jazz UK The Dave Jones Jazz Trio will be performing a selection of classics from the Great American Songbook, including the trio's interpretations of tunes by the likes of Jerome Kern, George Gershwin, Richard Rogers, and Duke Ellington.
