UNTIL Saturday 13th August

Learn about the deserts, dinosaurs and tropical seas that existed here 200 million years ago.

Have you ever wondered how to find fossils on Penarth Beach?

Join the South Wales Geologists Association on Saturday 13th August between 11 and 3.

We'll have professionals on hand to show you have to look for fossils, identify what you find, and explain all about the fascinating local geology.

Learn about the deserts, dinosaurs and tropical seas that existed here 200 million years ago.

No hammers are needed - just bring your own refreshments and water, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and maybe a strong plastic bag to carry home a couple of your favourite finds.

We'll be on the beach just beyond the lifeboat station from 11 until 3, turn up anytime, and leave when you want.
