Illyria returns with thier hit 2018 Dr Doolittle show. We're delighted to welcome this funny, much-loved and exciting family adventure to the Kymin Gardens this August.

When Dr John Dolittle of Puddleby-on-the-Marsh is taught by his wise old parrot Polynesia how to talk to animals, news of his skills spreads far and wide.

Soon animals across the world send messages asking for his help. So he buys a leaky old ship and, together with his trusty pet-crew of Jip the dog, Chee-Chee the monkey, Dab-Dab the Duck and permanently hungry Gub-Gub the pig, sets forth on a mission to heal illness, spread compassion and gain a greater understanding of the animal kingdom.

Please bring low-backed chairs or blankets and dress warm!

Feel free to to bring a picnic (no BBQs sorry), however, light refreshments will be available to purchase on the day.

Running time (approx): 1hr 50mins (inc 20 minute interval)

Suitable for ages 5+ (younger children also welcome!)

There is no shelter if wet. No gazebos or large garden parasols permitted. Umbrellas are not permitted unless you are seated in the back row and dogs other than assistance dogs are not permitted.

There is no car parking at this venue.

Terms & Conditions: Only severe thunderstorms will stop the performance and every effort will be made to re-start. Illyria will make every effort to complete the performance and reserve the right to stop and start the action as required. Performances are never cancelled or abandoned before the advertised starting time and then only in the event of severe weather. Please note that we cannot give refunds for cancellation or abandonment as a result of weather. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser for reasons other than the weather.
