PLANT & CAKE SALE SAT 28^th March

Penarth Ministry Area is holding their annual Spring Plant & Cake sale on Saturday 28^th March 10am-12noon at St Augustine's Church, Church Place South, Penarth. There will be lots on offer, including annuals, perennials, houseplants, tomatoes, chillis, peppers and sweet peas. Most things are home grown.

There will also be home-made cakes, preserves and tea & coffee to buy. Organiser Rachel Elder said "We look forward to seeing lots of people come for some garden bargains and the delicious home made cakes. Last year we raised over £900, so we hope to do just as well. If anyone would like to donate plants for the sale, we'll gratefully accept them – bring them 9-10am to the church."

Everyone is welcome to this free event – come and see the daffodils and spring flowers or enjoy the great views. Proceeds will go towards looking after the 5 churches in the Ministry Area around Penarth and Llandough, cash and card payments will be accepted.
