"Churches Unlocked" Festival

Art Exhibition, Talks; Concerts; Churchyard Activities: Demonstrations; Exhibitions.

A week-long festival featuring an Art Exhibition (Parish Hall, June 3rd & 4th), Demonstration of the Burial Ground Management System (June 4th at noon); Talks on the history of St Augustine's Church (June 4th at 2.30, and June 11th at 2.30), the Churchyard (June 11th at 3.30), and Commonwealth War Graves (June 10th at 2pm).

An evening Bat Walk with ecologist Elliott Hughes (June 4th at 9pm). Flower Arranging with Susie Ryall (June 7th at 2.30pm).

Four Concerts: The Organ Music of Joseph Parry (June 5th at 7pm), a Lunchtime Harp Recital by Bethan Semmens (June 8th at 1pm), Songwriter's Circle (June 6th at 7.30), Celebrity Organ Recital by internationally acclaimed organist Martin Baker (June 9th at 7.30pm), and a concert by the award-winning Welsh folk trio VRi (June 10th at 7.30).

"Discovering our Churchyard" (Tuesday June 6th 2 - 4pm).

"Come and see Bellringing" (Wednesday June 7th at 7.30pm). Concluding with Choral Evensong sung by the church choirs of St Augustine's and All Saints (June 11th at 6pm).
