Beachcliff Fish and Chips will be opening next to the former Crazy Cafe unit as part of the Beachcliff development with views over the Bristol channel.

The £2 congestion charge in Cardiff is being investigated and deliberated by Cardiff Council, but with Penarth's proximity to the city centre being so close, it is important to consider the impact of this proposal locally.

From the 1st February 2020, changes will be implemented to patient and visitor parking at University Hospital Llandough, Barry Hospital and the University Hospital of Wales.
Parking for patients and visitors for these sites will remain free for the first four hours.
Penarth's Town Mayor Cllr Angela Thomas is holding a fundraising concert with a local folk band in aid of the National Autistic Society Cardiff and the Vale.
The evening will take place in Penarth Paget Rooms with a special appearance from The Brwmys: A foot-stomping, jig-tastic, future folk group from Cardiff.

Over the weekend volunteers from the community group Friends of Victoria Square clubbed together to remove a swathe of unsightly brambles from the square.
Jon Greatrex, the Park Manager, from the Vale Council provided a vehicle to take away the bramble and also provided some tools, protective gloves and eye protection.
