Dinas Powys has already begun to feel the effects of the heavy rain that is washing through the area. Penarth Nub News has captured the dramatic scenes in the photo gallery above and the attached video.
A local resident in Dinas Powys talked to Nub News about the floods. She said: ''It's the worst I've seen in 63 years of living here. There is flooding all over Dinas.''

Cardiff Bus has announced the changes to their services due to the Windsor Road road closure in Penarth over the 27th - 29th February.
Affected Routes:
Penarth Policing Inspector, Andy Rice, updated Penarth Town Council on police matters in the local area.
He explained that there has been a jump in offences from January in 2020 vs. January in 2019.
Police inspector Andy Rice updated Penarth Town councillors on three bomb incidents that have been recorded and dealt with over a ten-day period.
On the 17th of February, a live incendiary device was found on Penarth beach and taken home by local residents.
Osmond Drake Opticians, in the heart of Penarth, will be welcoming the wonderful world of Roald Dahl's much-loved characters to their store, just in time for World Book Day on the 5th of March.
Osmond Drake explained what the event was all about in a recent blog post. They said: ''Scrumdiddlyumptious Specs for kids featuring Willy Wonka, Matilda, Fantastic Mr Fox, James & The Giant Peach & The BFG.

Glass by Design, a Penarth based business, was given the task of creating a commemorative plaque for the 60th anniversary of the local Marie Curie Hospice.
Angelina Hall and Cathy O'Doherty are both experts in Glass Design and were approached by the Hospice for the project.
