Storm Ciara will bring very strong winds and potentially some disruption to travel throughout Sunday in Penarth and across the UK.
The Met Office has declared yellow weather warnings for wind and rain as Storm Ciara passes through Penarth this weekend and have also provided safety advice.

The electric charging point at Penarth Tesco on Terranova way is closed until further notice.
Pod Point have announced that their charging points for electric vehicles will be closed at all Tesco stores for essential maintenance.

The Harvester on Lavernock Road in Penarth will be closing its doors this month and is being replaced by a Mediterranean restaurant.
The eatery which has been running for over 10 years in its prominent Penarth location said on Twitter today that its due to close on the 16th of February.
Penarth Town Council has set the dates for some of this year's major events. These are detailed below.
VE day & Pier Celebrations - Fri 8th until Sat 10th May:
An event is being held in the Paget Rooms in Penarth that is being hosted by Welsh Hearts.
Three Phantom of the Opera stars will perform in the concert for the whole family which will be a celebration of the best-loved musicals from The West End.
Following two sell-out events in January, Penarth's independent bookshop Griffin Books has announced the stellar line-up for its forthcoming events.
On Friday 28 February, Griffin Books will play host to a collection of thirteen best-selling crime-fiction writers as The Orenda Roadshow rolls into town, bringing with it writers from Finland, Norway, Germany, France and the UK to discuss their novels, their writing heroes, inspiration, and the ever-increasing appeal of the crime-fiction genre. This year, the now well-established Orenda Roadshow will visit Glasgow, Stockton on Tees, Wirral and Nottingham, before finishing in Penarth – the first time in its history that the tour has visited Wales.
A planning application has been submitted to change part of the former Royal British Legion club, at Penarth's Station Approach, into a tattoo parlour.
The proposals apply to an adaptation of the first floor of the building from its current office use to a tattoo parlour.

Willmore's 1938, a cafe situated in the heart of Penarth on Stanwell Road, is pairing up with Penarth RFC to provide locals with a lip-smacking burger night next Wednesday.
Their hopes are that this will lead to more work with other local businesses and groups in a collaborative way.
