The police have just announced that Andrew Road has reopened after a suspected incendiary bomb was found in a property.
Congestion and delays due to road closures were reported by communters during rush hour with many taking hours to get home.

Train delays and cancellations are unrelated to the bomb disposal incident in Cogan.
Transport for Wales updated Vale of Glamorgan passengers that services were cancelled due to reports of "a dangerously hanging TV mast".
Residents had thought a two hour wait was on their hands after it was announced they would have to wait for the Bomb Squad to come from Tewkesbury but Penarth Nub News has pictured their arrival.
The incident is now being dealt with as they have approached the property.

Andrew Road in Cogan had been closed after the police discovered ordnance at a property. They have now informed residents that part of the street that has been evacuated is allowed to return to their homes.
Anyone in properties numbered 65 and below have been told they may return home whilst those from the upper street should not return to their properties.

Alexandra's enchanted garden has transformed Penarth's scenic park with a series of magical illuminations and decorations to entertain the town this February half term.
Lizzie and Richard Rayner, who also run Figure of 8 Events, wanted to bring something special back to their hometown of Penarth.
The Met Office has announced yellow weather warnings for rain over Wednesday and Thursday in Penarth and around Wales.
This follows Storm Ciara and Storm Dennis over the past fortnight.

It was recently announced that the Sully Inn, previously known as the Boat House, would be restored to its former glory. Now, management is on the lookout for new employees to join them.
The Knife and Fork independent restaurant company announced that they will be taking over management of the Boat House (and will be reverting back to the Sully Inn as part of that process).

If you're planning to get a train from Penarth today it is advised to check your journey as most services are severely delayed or cancelled due to flooding on the lines.
