The Deck will be replacing the building that used to be Pier 64 in hopes of reviving and renewing the space which shut its doors earlier this year.

A sixteen-year-old boy has been arrested after Tesco Express in Penarth town centre had its window smashed in and stock burgled.
The large window was completely shattered but has since been boarded up. The shop was closed in the morning so that the staff could get it cleared.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has confirmed that they will be purchasing five deployable CCTV cameras to help deal with anti-social behaviour in local areas.
In 2019/2020 Community Safety carried out a review of the current CCTV provision in the Vale of Glamorgan in line with the requirements placed upon the Council by the CCTV Surveillance Code of Practice.
