Solar Technician
Annual
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults while maintaining safety standards.
- Design and install indoor/outdoor electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Conduct inspection and testing of systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Ensure all installations comply with national electrical safety standards and building regulations.
- Support and mentor an apprentice electrician four days per week (subject to availability).
- Liaise with subcontractors and customers to coordinate site activity.
- Minimum 5 years' electrical industry experience.
- Recognised solar PV qualifications BPEC or equivalent (e.g. MCS, BESS, Napit).
- NVQ Level 3 technical qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds BS7671 Level 3).
- Full UK driving licence.
