Were recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join one of our prestigious food manufacturing clients based in South Gloucestershire!

Youll be part of a small, supportive engineering team, ensuring production runs smoothly across two local sites. From planned maintenance to reactive fault-finding, your work will help reduce downtime, drive improvements, and maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What youll be doing

• Maintain, repair, and optimise mechanical and electrical food production equipment
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise downtime
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Support continuous improvement projects and site upgrades
• Keep accurate maintenance records
• Work safely and comply with Health, Safety, and Food Safety standards
• Collaborate with the team and contractors when needed
• Participate in a 1-in-3 call-out rota for out-of-hours support

Hours

MondayFriday 6:00am-14:00pm & 14:00pm-22:00pm (rotating weekly)

1 in 3 call out rota to cover weekends and nights

Pay

£45,000 - £47,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

Skills/Experience Required

• Minimum 12 months experience in a manufacturing maintenance role (food sector desirable but not essential)
• Recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (apprenticeship, college, or equivalent)
• Confident working with both mechanical and electrical systems
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
• Proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently when required
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety regulations
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Valid UK driving licence
