Job Title:Maintenance EngineerSalary:£37,000 per annum (Flexible DOE)Location:BoltonHours:7:30am - 16:00pm (Monday to Friday)Overtime opportunities availableJob Responsibilities:
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Urgent and efficient response to unplanned breakdowns
  • Daily use of various machines: CNC wood, CNC Metalworking, Bending / Forming
  • Ensuring that all maintenance activities are accurately logged on internal systems
  • Conduct mechanical fault finding through use of drawings and schematics
  • Carrying out repairs, replacements and adjustments to mechanical systems
  • Management of spare parts and effective inventory management
  • Participating across Root Cause Analysis (RCA) following equipment failures
  • Maintaining health and safety on site
  • Adhering to all regulations
Key Skills / Experience:
  • An NVQ3, HND, HNC or City and Guild qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical experience and/or willingness to attend training
  • Experience across planned and unplanned maintenance
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • A Proactive and self-motivating attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong IT skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
