Overview We are looking for a skilled electrician to join our team here at ASG Electrical.The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and electrical installations in a variety of commercial environments, schools, universities and offices.Domestic work also occasionally carried out including rewires, refurbishments and fuse board changes.We predominantly work in and around Cardiff but we have clients around Bristol, Gloucester, London.Occasionally you will be required to work away.You must be able to work confidently and to a high standard with good knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.You will be expected to work overtime and weekends occasionally. Sometimes our clients needs require short notice overtime which may include unsocial hours.Being able to work as part of a team is essential for this role.Responsibilities to include . Electrical installations including containment and wiring. Carrying out EICRs throughout various premises. Maintenance of electrical systems including emergency lighting, general lighting repairs. Fault finding.Skills required . Being able to read and understand wiring diagrams. The ability to record information including time worked, materials used etc. Confident using power tools. Being able to communicate clearly with customers and other trades. Being able to work as part of a team. Full driving license. (Essential) NVQ level 3 and AM2. City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and testing. (Or equivalent) ECS Gold Card. (Essential) Ipaf and Pasma preferable.What we can offer Competitive salary depending on experience.
