Key Responsibilities: * Lead and execute design verification and validation activities across assigned projects. * Develop and perform test plans, protocols, and reliability testing, ensuring product performance meets specification. * Support risk management, usability testing, and compliance with international standards (including ISO13485, IEC60601, and FDA CFR820). * Analyse and interpret test data, preparing formal verification and reliability reports. * Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure seamless product transition from design to production. * Use LabVIEW and other tools to create custom control, data collection, and reporting programs. * Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement of testing processes and tools. * Maintain calibration and equipment records, supporting ongoing product quality and safety assurance. Skills & Experience: * Degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline. * 2+ years' experience in product design, verification, or validation within a regulated industry (medical devices, aerospace, automotive, etc.). * Knowledge of ISO14971 risk management, IEC60601 safety, and ISO13485 quality systems. * Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in mechanical, electronic, or electromechanical testing. * Proficiency with LabVIEW or similar test automation and data acquisition tools. * Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills. * Collaborative team player with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. This is a full-time, permanent position.Over 90% of our work is in South Wales, therefore we will aim to keep you local with limited time needing to be spent away from home.Our core clients are Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Commercial and Industrial clients local to South Wales. Whilst the surveying requirement for this role includes all property types, the focus will be on more complex surveys in commercial and industrial environments.
