Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Flexible Working: Hybrid working Sector: Cost Management / Quantity Surveying Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + car allowance + benefits

The Opportunity

Panoramic Associates is proud to be working in partnership with a leading consultancy to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for their Cost Management team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, collaborative team that delivers high-impact projects across a range of sectors, including Education, Residential (particularly PBSA schemes), and currently, Local Government and Charity sector clients. You'll play a key role in delivering projects from inception to completion while being supported to grow within a forward-thinking, people-focused business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on all cost management activities across the full project lifecycle.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting their development and ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Prepare cost plans, feasibility studies, and BoQs across all project stages.
  • Evaluate building designs and proposals to manage project budgets effectively.
  • Use digital tools (e.g. CostX) for quantity take-off and estimation.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related RICS-accredited discipline.
  • Chartered (MRICS) status preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC (NEC 4 is desired) suite of contracts.
  • Experience with digital estimation tools (e.g. CostX) and an interest in digitisation, AI, and BIM.
  • Understanding of LCCs, LCAs, Capital Allowances, and Reinstatement Cost Assessments (preferred).
