Fearless Youth Coordinator - Cardiff

As a Fearless Youth Coordinator, you will help young people to understand different crime topics and break down the barriers to reporting crime. This will be done through the delivery of workshops in schools and other youth settings. The Fearless Youth Coordinator will also build partnerships locally with other organisations, to provide a coordinated response to youth crime and exploitation across Cardiff.

Reports to: Regional Manager

Location: Cardiff with travel

Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2027

Salary: £28,186 per annum

Hours: 37.5.hours full time, fixed term contract

DBS required: Yes

You'll work with the Senior Events Officer, supporting other areas of event delivery, such as marketing and event day logistics.We'd like to hear from you if you have -Experience working on peer-to-peer fundraising programmes and delivering memorable fundraising experiences for supporters.-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build authentic and effective relationships with supporters.-Track record of monitoring and meeting targets and KPIs, ensuring strong ROI and supporter engagement.-Project management skills, including ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously. This is as a maternity cover on a Fixed Term Contract of one year. The team is focused on recruiting and delivering brilliant stewardship to supporters who choose to fundraise in their own way for Mind, whether this is at home, their place of work or at school, colleague or university. This year the team aims to raise over £5m and support over 10,000 people and organisations who have chosen to give their time and enthusiasm in order to organise their own fundraising activity for Mind. This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.Key duties and responsibilitiesThe post holder will:Day to day, the Community Fundraising Officer manages supporter journeys from end-to-end. You'll make sure that those who are doing their own fundraising for Mind get the support they need ahead of their fundraising activity, feel connected to Mind's mission and are inspired to fundraise.
