As our Business Tax Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio that primarily includes Owner Managed Businesses, delivering first-class tax compliance and advisory services. You'll help businesses navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and meet their ambitious goals.Here's what you'll be doing: Managing UK compliance cycles for Owner Managed Businesses of various sizes, ensuring deadlines are met and clients' needs are exceeded. Advising on issues like tax efficient profit extraction, capital allowances planning, exit or succession planning, and employee incentivisation to name but a few Joining the Business Tax working group where your voice will not only be heard but you can be a key driver in developing future growth Mentoring and leading junior team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative culture. Driving growth by identifying tax planning opportunities, mitigating risks, and contributing to proposals for prospective clients. What We're Looking For You're a seasoned tax professional (ACA, ACCA, CIOT qualified or equivalent) with experience managing corporate tax compliance and advisory matters. You have a solid understanding of UK tax regulations that impact Owner Managed Businesses, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects with ease.You thrive on building relationships, working collaboratively, and delivering innovative solutions that help businesses succeed. Flexibility that Works - Agile working and generous benefits are built into our culture of trust.What You'll Be Doing As a Business Tax Senior, you'll support the delivery of high-quality compliance and advisory work across a varied client portfolio and contribute to the wider growth and development of the tax team. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns Assisting with P11Ds, PSAs, ATED, ERS, and EMI reporting Working on advisory projects including capital allowances reviews, succession planning, profit extraction strategies, and employee incentivisation Identifying wider tax planning opportunities and collaborating with specialists across the firm Building relationships with clients and managing day-to-day communications Supporting junior team members through coaching, review, and knowledge-sharing Collaborating across offices and service lines to ensure joined-up, value-driven deliveryWhat We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially aware, and excited by the opportunity to make a difference as part of a close-knit, ambitious team. You'll ideally have: ACA / ACCA qualified and/or ATT or CTA qualified (or close to completion) Solid experience in UK corporate tax compliance Some experience of working on advisory or project-based assignments Ability to interpret financial accounts and understand broader tax implications Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused mindset Working knowledge of Alphatax (preferred, but not essential) A proactive, self-managing approach with good organisational skills A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and confidence in mentoring junior staff Commitment to professional development and continuous learningWhat's in It for You?
