We are hiring an experienced Risk & Controls Analyst to join our Retail Collections team. The primary focus of this role is to oversee risk management and compliance, ensuring that all collections operations meet regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of risk and controls within the collections process.

  • Conduct compliance assessments and audits to ensure adherence to policies.

  • Collaborate with the Collections team to strengthen risk management frameworks.

  • Train and guide collections staff on compliance-related matters.

  • Report on compliance risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in risk management within a collections environment.

  • Retail Banking Experience

  • Strong understanding of compliance regulations affecting collections.

  • Ability to provide training and coaching on compliance matters.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the retail sector.

  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and their application in collections.

  • Analytical skills to assess and interpret compliance data.

Senior Payroll Officer - Cardiff - 6-9 months We're recruiting for a Senior Payroll Officer to join a well-established organisation in the financial services sector. This is a 6-month temporary assignment with the possibility of extension to 9 months. The role offers hybrid working (2 days in office), a 35-hour week, and a supportive team environment.This is a hands-on position suited to someone confident in managing complex payroll tasks, statutory reporting, and mentoring junior staff.
