Live Comedy in Penarth
A night of sparkling stand up from some of the best acts on the circuit. Curated and hosted by Lorna Prichard (as heard on BBC Radio Wales). Expect this one to get a little festive..!
PAUL JAMES
Once described as what would happen if Tim Vine hadn't found God, Welsh comic Paul James delivers a set that has the audience reeling from the first joke to the last. His high gag rate has made him a hit with comedy clubs, theatres, universities and bear pits up and down the UK and beyond. Jokes, stories, talking to the audience - if it's funny, he'll do it.
"Revered as a comedic demi-god" - Western Mail
"He has a gritty, down to earth accessibility that wins crowds over everywhere" - Wales Online
"Armed with jokes that huge stars would sell their grandmothers for!" - South Wales Evening Post
CHRIS CHOPPING
Chris Chopping's dry wit and self deprecating observations have been entertaining audiences around the U.K. for a decade now. The BBC Sesh regular has performed stand up on BBC One and S4C.
"Hilarious"-Paul Sinha
"Really quick, really f****ng funny"-Fern Brady

Funny, charming and a little bit manic, Eleri is a regular writer/contributor for BBC SESH, BBC WALES, BBC CYMRU, RADIO 4 and S4C and has performed at gigs throughout the UK, including the Edinburgh Fringe and Mach Comedy Festival. She is also a regular in the improvised Sitcom 'Tourist Trap' on BBC One Wales.
