Dinas Powys Art Group Exhibition at the Pier

Where

Penarth Pier Pavillion

When

1 Mar 2022 - 30 Mar 2022

UNTIL Wednesday 30 March

Throughout March Dinas Powys Art Group are showcasing their creative talents at Penarth Pier.

A multitude of styles, techniques, medium and subject matters will be on display. You will be amazed! We are a group of 30 local amateur artists who love to paint, draw, cut, stick, splash and generally have fun together experimenting with paint. We produce very diverse original artworks of varying styles and sizes, using a multitude of techniques and artistic media. Our pieces range from representational to very abstract, from portraits to flowers, from landscapes to seascapes. We use pastels, oils, watercolours, acrylics, inks, crayons, charcoal, pens and all sorts of things to collage with. There will be something for everyone at this free exhibition taking place at Penarth Pier. We have been running as an art group in Dinas Powys for more than 40 years, raising a lot of money in that time for local charities. For the past 20+ years we have been encouraged to be bold and adventurous in our artwork by professional Barry based art tutor and artist, Glyn Pooley. Our aim is to have fun and inspire the local community to engage with art. Please do come along to the Pier in March to peruse and enjoy our works of art. Some artwork will be for sale, so if you are looking for a gift or a piece of original art for your home, there's even more reason to visit.
