Christmas Storytime with Will Millard

Step into Christmas with our festive Storytime Special, featuring expedition leader, BBC broadcaster, and author Will Millard!

Will Millard will be introducing his new festive picture book The Beaver Who Saved Christmas and we'll be getting crafty too. So, join us for the perfect festive bookish treat – Christmas jumpers encouraged!

The Beaver Who Saved Christmas:

In a beautiful village next to a creek, Elin and her Grandad are excited to decorate their home for Christmas. But when their decorations get blown away in a great gust of wind, a baby beaver becomes trapped in a tangle of broken Christmas lights!

Once rescued, the baby beaver amazes and inspires the world in a viral video when it builds a dam… out of the Christmas decorations!

Elin and her village are inspired to come together to keep the beavers' home safe and rubbish-free, giving the beaver, and each other, the happiest Christmas ever.

Will Millard:

Will Millard is a writer, BBC presenter, and expedition leader. Born and brought up in the Fens, he is the BAFTA Cymru winning presenter of the BBC Two series 'Hunters of the South Seas' and 'My Year With The Tribe'.

***This relaxed session is aimed at 2-5 year olds. It is a free but ticketed event due to limited space available in the library.

See you there (with bells on) Storytime Crew!
