Penarth Nub News reported on Posh Fish and Chips announcing their move to Penarth in November last year and now work has got started on their new premises as well as a promise of ''coming soon".

The eatery will replace what was previously a retail shop on the ground floor and a hair salon on the second, on Glebe Street.

They wrote on their Facebook that their first day of work started on the 24th of June and have been posting regular updates of their progress since.

The popular Fish and Chip company already has a site in Llandaff and this will be their second premises.

Their menu won't be like most chippy's, with a wide range of fishy delights including specialities like Lobster.

Run by Hamid Kowsor who is a Cardiff born resident. The company aims to create high-quality fish and chip meals with a twist of "posh" fish and chip menu options such as lobster to our inhouse homemade fishcakes.

To find out more about their planning application and what is set to come to Penarth you can read our original article here.
