A bright and crisp day in Penarth with some sunshine throughout, although feeling cool. Tonight will remain largely dry and fine, growing gradually cloud overnight. Some showery outbreaks before dawn are likely. A wet afternoon forecast for Penarth with heavy outbreaks of rain. These will clear through the afternoon, but a few blustery showers will likely blow in from the north-west. Strong gusts are likely. Tonight will be cold and windy. Bands of rain will sweep in from the north, these will have a wintry mix, bringing some snow to higher ground but mostly rain to lower levels. Strong gusts continue.

A4232 – One lane blocked and queueing traffic due to stalled vehicle on A4232 Southbound from B4267 Leckwith Road (Leckwith Interchange) to A4055. Lane one (of two) is blocked. A4055 – Queueing traffic on A4055 Cardiff Road Northbound at B4267 Redlands Road (Merrie Harrier traffic lights). Mill Road – Temporary traffic signals due to gas main work on Mill Road near Mill Close.
