Born on this day (15 Sept) in 1890, Agatha Christie became, and remains, the bestselling novelist of all time; but award-winning journalist and author Andrew Wilson imagines what could have transpired if Christie herself had turned detective.

'I Saw Him Die' is the fourth novel in Andrew Wilson's Agatha Christie crime series, in which he imagines the famous author using her novelist's plotting skills to investigate a series of mysteries based on real life events.

This classic whodunit is filled with red herrings and double-crosses, as the Queen of Crime returns in the role of sleuth to investigate a mysterious death in the Scottish Highlands.

Andrew Wilson is the highly acclaimed author of biographies of Patricia Highsmith, Sylvia Plath and Alexander McQueen. His first novel, 'The Lying Tongue', was published in 2007. He will be in conversation with Griffin Books owner, Mel Griffin, on Wednesday 23 September (8.00 pm) about his writing career and all things Christie.

The event will take place via Zoom video call and tickets costs just £5 per household, which includes a discount on book purchases. For more information and to book tickets, visit: www.ticketsource.co.uk/griffinbooks or contact the shop on: 029 2070 6455 / [email protected]
