RESPONSIBILITIES: The M&E Manager role involves procuring, planning, implementing, and delivering Mechanical and Electrical projects according to programme, budget, and quality.The role holder will Lead the M&E project team with the timely production of risk assessments and method statements, H&S site management and work package plans. Main duties will include: Lead the procurement, design and delivery of the M&E package, including early engagement with the supply chain and input into alternative procurement approaches. Liaise with external designers to ensure that no gaps in scope are present; identify and eliminate design creep, and ensure design outputs are delivered on programme. Control and co-ordinate M&E Supply Chain design from Stage 4b onwards, ensuring compliance with design requirements and any agreed derogations Management and sequencing of M&E services on-site, in coordination with builders works. Direct day to day Management of multi-discipline M&E Installation Supervisory teams. Ensuring all quality procedures set out in the Project Quality Plan are followed by our company, and by the companies carrying out work on our behalf. Organisation of day-to-day M&E activities on site including instruction of contractors; and inspection of works as necessary, guarantee the highest quality on site. Ensure proper financial and contractual management in all areas, including liaison with accounts, input to cashflow, cost and value forecasts for project spend. Quality management, including the use of Dalux IT management tool. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Right to work in the UK City & Guilds / NVQ Diploma in either Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent AND At least 5 years' experience in a similar role OR At least 10 years' experience in a similar role In addition to the above In-depth knowledge of the UK market and field of healthcare. Specific experience of commissioning, soft landings and the migration of existing staff into a new facility. Proficient with IT software in particular the Microsoft suite; to include Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word. Vision and tenacity to identify possibilities for improvements, future investments, and opportunities to streamline production for efficiency and to enhance quality and reduce turnaround times.
