Teacher of Mathematics Required in Cardiff. January Start.

Your new school This school is a mixed 11 - 18 comprehensive school based in Cardiff with over 500 pupils. The school has a mixed range of opportunities for the pupils to develop and shape their future. The staff and leadership team create a caring and supportive ethos for the whole school to feel welcome and make an inclusive environment. Your new role Starting in January, you will be a key part of the dedicated Maths department including full teaching responsibilities such as:

  • Teach KS3 - KS5 including further Maths.
  • Nurture a range of learning abilities
  • Staff meetings
  • Parent's evenings,
  • Pastoral responsibilities,
  • Planning and preparation of lessons
  • Marking and assessment.

  • Experience of teaching Further Maths in a secondary school.
  • Qualified teaching Status or PCET with Maths experience.
  • Proven track record of helping students.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council.
  • Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
